A coolant pipe from the intake (or cylinder head) to the heater core is a specialized heater hose or hardline that transfers hot engine coolant from the engine block to the heater core inside the dashboard, allowing the cabin heater to function. These hoses are critical for cabin heating and, in some cases, provide a constant flow bypass loop.
